The THRIVE Isla Vista Network is a group of organizations that work together to insure children, families and individuals have the necessary resources to be healthy and succeed. The Network provides assistance with the following areas; basic needs, childcare and early childhood education, adult education, financial assistance, health and wellness, family support, summer and after school programming and volunteer opportunities. The Isla Vista Youth Projects was founded in 1971 in response to community need for programs to serve community children and families. The Isla Vista Youth Projects celebrates the diversity of the ethnic and racial backgrounds represented in our community, and we do not discriminate against any child because of race, ethnic origin, religious affiliation or economic status.
