Family Resource Center
The goal of our Family Resource Center is to strengthen and empower families by helping them meet primary needs, access community resources, build upon family strengths and improve family relations. To improve outcomes for both families and community, our Center brings together services that educate and develop long lasting skills. Core funding is provided by First 5 Santa Barbara County, Santa Barbara County Human Services, Santa Barbara County Department of Social Services, United Way & the City of Goleta.
The FRC provides CalFresh and Medical assistance, monthly food distribution, emergency food pantry on site, parenting classes and additional resources tailored to family or individual needs.
The Case Management component provides intensive individualized support to families to help them achieve goals and improve quality of life.
The Home Visitation program provides a child development home visit and on-going services included parent education, developmental screenings and referrals. During the visit we will share how best to support your child's learning.
